Traditional online stores are outdated. Transform your online sales with a quiz store

💥 Big news: your quiz is now a full-fledged online store! 😎

Shopping with Quiz

Traditional e-commerce stores often struggle with one key issue: choice overload.

A quiz store makes shopping faster. By asking the right questions, it learns about customers’ preferences and instantly suggests the best products or services, making it easy to place an order.

With an E-com quiz approach, the sales funnel gets shorter, and conversion rates go up.

The sales funnel of a traditional website and E-com quiz

A quiz store can be used as a standalone sales tool and a landing page. Or it can enhance an existing online store, just like hiring a top-tier sales consultant who listens to customers, guides them with the right questions, and closes deals. All it takes is packaging your product expertise into a quiz once, and it will work for you 24/7.

Example of a purchase

Let’s say you have an online bed and mattress store. The customer doesn’t know which specific bed or mattress they need and feels overwhelmed by the options on the website and leaves. The quiz asks questions like a skilled consultant would, without using specialized terms:

sample question - choose material
sample question - who is the mattres for?

These questions are designed to better understand the customer’s preferences

Based on the customer’s responses, the quiz suggests suitable bed and mattress options, making it easy for them to choose and add one or multiple items to the cart.

Recommended products

Even if the customer is still unsure about their choice, the quiz doesn’t leave them hanging. It offers the option to leave contacts so a consultant can help with selection

Next, the customer proceeds to checkout. In the contact form, they’ll see a button for payment with a discount:

checkout - lead form

By clicking the button, the customer will be redirected to the payment system page to complete the order. The manager will see the paid order and will call the customer to discuss delivery details.

Shopify VS Quiz

Shopify is one of the most well-known e-commerce platforms, offering store owners tools for product listings, payments, and marketing. However, there are limitations:

❌ Overloaded interfaces: Shopify stores often feature long product lists, making navigation overwhelming.

❌ Lower engagement: Customers must search and filter products manually, which leads to drop-offs.

❌ Slow decision process: Users hesitate when faced with too many choices, affecting conversion rates.

❌ Load speed concerns: While Shopify stores rely on themes and plugins, some setups can slow down page speeds, leading to frustration and lower sales.

On the other hand, a quiz store transforms shopping into an interactive and engaging experience. Users answer simple questions, and the system provides instant product recommendations. This solution improves the speed of decision making and keeps customers engaged leading to higher conversion rates.

Another critical advantage is the loading speed. Quiz stores load significantly faster than traditional Shopify pages, which may have slow load times due to images and scripts. Faster loading reduces the page bounce rate and improves user experience.

How to set up a quiz store

1. In the "Results" tab, enable the "Shopping Cart" option in the settings. Results will be shown before the lead form.

To make it easier to track orders in the accounting system, you can add a product item number in the settings of each result card.

2. In the "Integrations", connect payment acceptance through Stripe.

If the cart is enabled but the payment system is not connected, a lead without payment will be created, and the seller will contact the customer.

How to create a product card

Once you enable the cart in your quiz, the first step is to add a title for the product, as it’s required for saving the result. Next, you can set the price manually or use the Calculator feature for dynamic pricing.

You should also include a brief product description to highlight key features. Add text within the product card for further details, such as usage instructions or promotions. Also, you can add images and video to demonstrate how the item looks in order to make it more attractive.

If your product comes in different options, you can specify Item variants (e.g., colors or sizes) and additional options that may affect the price, like accessories or warranties.

Finally, fill in the product specifications with characteristics to help customers make an informed decision.

By setting up these elements, you create a full product card that supports your sales process and improves customer experience.

How to connect payment in a quiz

To make it easier to pay for products or services in the quiz, we've integrated the Stripe payment system:

The Publishable key and Secret Key can be found in your Stripe account. You can find detailed instructions on setting up Stripe in our knowledge base

If cash payment is suitable, choose the “No payment in the quiz” option.

We’ve kept the option to place an order in the quiz without prepayment, assuming that the courier will collect payment upon delivery or the manager will receive payment at the pickup point.

There is always the option to leave contacts and get in touch with a manager in the quiz. Whether it’s a lead or a purchase — the quiz will help you build a customer base.

Try creating a sales funnel with an e-com quiz:

🍇 If you used to redirect clients to a product or service page or send a lead to the sales department after showing the results;

🍊 If you have an online store but low conversion;

🍉 If you don't have an online store and need to sell;

🥭 If you're having trouble integrating a payment system into your website;

🥝 If you’re running a promotion for a specific product.

Fewer clicks, higher conversion. There are many ways to use an e-com quiz because our quiz is a flexible tool:

— Add it to your website,

— Place it in the online store section or on the homepage,

— Make it a standalone landing page.

Give your customers a new, more comfortable online shopping experience.
